During the 2019-2020 season, we will be working on basic theatrical skills using theater games, choreography, and vocal coaching while preparing for a fully staged production of Alice in Wonderland, Jr.
CLASSES: This is a year-long program. All students are required to enroll for the first semester to be eligible for participation in the Spring musical. Casting for the Spring musical will happen during the Fall semester, so all students will be expected to enroll for the entire year. Classes will be held once a week on Wednesdays from 2:30PM – 4:30PM, where students will prepare Alice in Wonderland, Jr. Students are dismissed straight from their regular classrooms to come to drama club.
DISMISSAL: All students enrolled in drama club must be enrolled in ASEP, per Cobb County rules. Dismissal will take place in front of the school for car riders. Car riders must be picked up by 4:45PM. Any students remaining after this time will be delivered to ASEP and parents will be responsible for any charges.
FEES: For online registration, the cost for the year is $400, which includes scripts, music, cast t-shirts, cast parties, over 24 hours of instruction each semester, and all production costs for the play (costumes are provided).

If paying by PayPal online (sibling/teacher discount): $180/semester, $360/year
If paying by Check or Cash (1st child): $190/semester, $380/year
If paying by Check or Cash (sibling/teacher discount): $171/semester, $342/year

at the discretion of Sedalia Park’s administration.*
A $10 late fee will be assessed for registrations after August 10, 2019. An 80% refund of participation fees will be given if the student decides not to continue the program before August 31, 2019. There will be no refunds after August 31, 2019.
ADDITIONAL COSTS (at the time of the show): DVD recordings of the show will be available for $20 each. Tickets to the show are $10 each.

Enrollment is limited and registrations may be put on a waiting list. All registrations must be received no later than August 10, 2019. A $10 fee will be assessed for late registrations. Please do not send forms or checks to the school. There will be no refunds after August 31, 2019.
ATTENDANCE: Attendance is a necessary part of producing a play. Excessive absences may result in recasting or removal from the production with no refund of the Participation Fee. Attendance is mandatory for all dress rehearsals and performances.
