Murdock 3, 4, & 5 grades - Willy Wonka KIDS
This is a year long class! Classes begin either Tuesday, August 27 or Thursday, August 29, 2024. When registering your child, please choose which day (Tuesday or Thursday) will work best for your schedule and plan to keep that day clear for the entire year. Casting happens after the third week of class and we continue blocking, choreography, and vocals throughout the year until showtime the end of March.
- Each week includes 2 hours of drama games, blocking, choreography, vocal training, and crazy fun equaling over 48 hours of instruction!
- All costumes are included
- All materials are included (scripts, rehearsal tracks, accompaniment tracks, royalties, sets, props, etc.)
- Each student receives a logo shirt included
- A professional photographer will attend 2 rehearsals and a performance with all pictures being shared for free
- Professional headshots will be taken and shared for free with an 8X10 color copy to keep following the performance
- The performance will be captured on video and a digital link to the video will be shared for free.
- A cast party will be included during the final class session after the performance where pizza, cupcakes, and juice will be provided during a screening of the performance.
Dress Rehearsals and Performances 2025
All Dress Rehearsals and Performances will take place at The Sewell Mill Library and Cultural Arts Center (2051 Lower Roswell Rd. Marietta, GA 30068) on the Amphitheatre stage
Tuesday Class:
- Dress Rehearsals - Monday March 17, 2025 and Wednesday March 19, 2025, 5-8PM
- 1st Performance - Thursday March 10, 2025, 6PM Call time, 7-8PM performance
- 2nd Performance - Saturday March 22, 2025, 1PM Call time, 2-3PM performance
Thursday Class:
- Dress Rehearsals - Tuesday March 18, 2025 and Wednesday March 19, 2025, 5-8PM
- 1st Performance - Friday March 21, 2025, 6PM Call time, 7-8PM performance
- 2nd Performance - Saturday March 22, 2025, 4PM Call time, 5-6PM performance
Please keep all these dates and times open as we count on students in one class being understudies for the other class. Performances will last approximately 1 hour.
