Arf! the musical

Grades 1-2 combine to bring to life a 30-minute musical version of the adorable story of Arf! the Musical.

Drama Club meets every Friday from 2:30-3:30 PM and gives students the opportunity to explore the world of musical theater while building confidence, creativity, and teamwork skills in a fun and supportive environment.

During the first semester, we will all get to know one another through engaging theater games, singing exercises, and beginner dance. These sessions help students develop foundational theater skills while allowing instructors to discover each participant's unique strengths, interests, and talents.

Casting is done randomly by drawing names out of a hat. Once roles are assigned, the remainder of the program, the Spring semester, is dedicated to rehearsing and preparing for our final performance. Students work together to bring a musical production to life while learning the many elements that make theater such a unique and collaborative art form.

Throughout the season, students gain hands-on experience in acting, singing, dancing, character development, stage presence, storytelling, teamwork, and performance etiquette. Whether they are seasoned performers or stepping onto the stage for the first time, every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and shine.

Everything students need for classes and performances is provided by Little Actors' Studio. Scripts, music, costumes, and rehearsal materials are included, allowing students to focus on developing their skills and enjoying the creative process.

Parents are an important part of our theater community. Volunteer opportunities will be available as performance time approaches, but parents are always welcome to visit and observe rehearsals throughout the season. We love sharing the journey and celebrating our students' growth from the first drama game to the final curtain call.
